I started cycling in 2018 as a complete beginner, never imagining it would become such a defining part of my life. After joining a women’s ride and meeting a community of strong, inspiring riders, I quickly fell in love with the sport — and the people within it.
I toured Italy with an Italian cycling hub, committed to improving through focused training and nutrition, and signed up for major sportives, including Étape du Tour. Cycling has since taken me across Spain on a bikepacking adventure, through France and Mallorca, and across the UK. Along the way, I joined clubs, developed as a rider, and became completely hooked — inspired by everyone from beginners to seasoned athletes.
What began as a hobby grew into a passion and purpose. I became a ride leader for women’s events with VIA in London and later worked with We Are Cycling UK in collaboration with Primal Runners in South Kent, leading inclusive community rides for refugees and local groups.
Now, I’m organising cycling tours in Italy with Primal Runners, alongside new projects with We Are Cycling UK this summer.
For me, the bike is more than transport — it’s freedom, resilience, wellbeing and connection. It’s a lifestyle that continues to shape who I am and the communities I’m proud to be part of.
